Outreach/Marketing Coordinator

Considerable knowledge of software programs (Microsoft, Excel, Publisher, Adobe, etc.) and/or ability to quickly learn programs and systems as needed.   Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.  Responsible for marketing MT services system wide.  Involvement in community events and meetings; ability to work with seniors, Veterans and persons with disabilities. Ability to maintain social media presence. Office location is Crestline, but will have responsibilities in both Big Bear and Crestline. Outreach Coordinator Duties

Entry Level Maintenance Technician

Mountain Transit is accepting applications for an entry level maintenance technician.

This is a full time (40 Hour/week) position with excellent benefits.  The applicant must possess a class B or class C Commercial driver’s license or have ability to get such license within 6 months of hire date and submit a copy of the DMV H6 with application.  Applicants should have entry level understanding of all vehicles systems and be able to perform routine preventative maintenance including oil and lube services.  Other duties may include various aspects of facility maintenance.  This position will be under the direct supervision of a Master Technician and must have the skill and willingness to continually lean new technical information and techniques in formal and informal training sessions.  This position may work some hours in both the Big Bear Lake and Crestline facilities. Mountain Transit is looking for Part-Time Seasonal Drivers in the Big Bear area.

A Commercial driver’s license (CDL) is is not needed to apply; however, prior to receiving a job offer, it is the applicant’s responsibility to obtain their Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP).  Mountain Transit will work with applicants with a clean driving record to provide behind-the-wheel training and prepare them for their Commercial driver’s license (CDL) road test.  This is considered a safety position and as such, all applicants must pass DOT medical and drug screen, and complete a background check.  A  DMV H-6 is required with application.
