COVID-19 emergency service plan is still in effect. Mountain Transit continues to provide essential transit service. Effective 3/15/21, Route 5 Service has been reinstated to Mondays and Fridays completing two round trips.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Proposed service changes in RIM Area- Monday March 16, 2020 Postponed

Update 3/14/20 6:25 PM – The scheduled public meetings on 3/20/20 have been cancelled. We will reschedule for a later date which has been determined.

Mountain Transit will hold two public hearings regarding service changes in the Rim Area which are proposed to begin April 27, 2020.

These hearings will both be held on Monday March 16, 2020 in the following locations:

NEO’s Pizza House
32000 Hilltop Blvd.
Running Springs, CA
11:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M.

Higher Grounds Coffee House
23776 Lake Dr.
Crestline, CA
2:00 P.M. – 3:00 P.M.

Mountain Transit Representatives will be on hand to discuss upcoming service and proposed fare changes for route 2, route 4, and Dial a Ride.

Mountain Transit will also be looking for feedback on a proposed demonstration project for a seasonal Saturday “Trolley” service between Running Springs and Lake Arrowhead Village.
